A Ziploc is a safe and cost-effective way to store your jewellery when you're at the beach or at a picnic in the park. These can also be beneficial if you're travelling and your jewelry box is too big to fit in your luggage.

Ziploc bags will store your jewelry air tight, so you don't have to worry about anything else. You just have to go about your day as your valuables are kept in secured and airtight storage.

3. Separate Your Jewelry Accordingly

We recommend having multiple jewelry boxes if you have loads of jewelry. For example, if you have silver and gold, it would be best to have them in separate jewelry boxes. This way, it will prevent metals from rubbing off with one another, which will eventually lead to tarnishing.

For the most part, we recommend using different types of jewelry boxes for a different purposes. For example, you should have one jewelry box for your costume, one for silver, one for gold, and the rest.

As we've mentioned, investing in good jewelry goes a long way. However, this can be quite a problem if you have different pieces of jewelry at your disposal. It would be better to save a few hundred bucks on a jewelry box than the risk it all with your important jewelry. 

Remember, constant trips to the jewelry shop from your home will take money out of your wallet for fuel, and the next is for labor charges. If you want to save a few hundred bucks, invest in a good jewelry box or safe storage container.

4. Do Not Use Tables and Display Racks

While it can definitely provide convenience and ease of access to your jewelry, we don't recommend storing them on display racks, drawers, and tables.

5. Chalk and Silica Packets

They are known to remove excess moisture and help keep the storage or jewelry box dry and cool. You may want to keep the chalk changed once a month to ensure everything goes well and without the fear of tarnishing. 6. Use A Protectant

If you don't have any jewelry box currently at your disposal but wouldn't risk it all by storing it in other locations, we highly recommend using a jewelry protectant.
