At Atolea, we believe jewelry should fit into your life, not the other way around.
Born from a love of the ocean, movement, and everyday adventure, we set out to create jewelry that could keep up without sacrificing style, quality, or intention.
Our name comes from atolls, protected coral islands shaped over time by the ocean itself. They represent resilience, care for the natural world, and the freedom to explore what is meant to be preserved. That balance between protection and possibility is at the heart of where we began and what continues to guide us.
Like so many jewelry lovers, we were tired of pieces that faded, tarnished, or had to be taken off the moment real life began. Jewelry that looked good, but couldn’t keep up.
So we created something different.
Since 2020, we have crafted waterproof, non-tarnish jewelry designed for everyday wear.
Pieces made to move from morning swims to workdays, workouts, travel, and sunset plans. Jewelry you don’t have to take off.
What started as a personal frustration became a clear point of view.

We believe progress lies in technological innovation. Experimenting better. From the humble garden hose stapled to the outsole of our first prototype – all the way to our ultimate vision of building a brighter future with fossil-free materials and circular systems. Our three main focuses are:
Fossil-free materials
Our innovation team is constantly investigating lower-impact, fossil-free materials. These include bio-based materials and advanced recycled materials, which maintain their integrity and quality after being processed. In 2022, after six years of research, we created CleanCloud® – a high-performance foam made using captured carbon emissions. We're now working on incorporating it into the shoes on our shelves.
Design for circularity
Our innovation team is constantly investigating lower-impact, fossil-free materials. Circular business models
A significant portion of our impact comes from raw materials and manufacturing. To combat this, we're piloting new business models which help extend our products' life. This includes our re-commerce platform, Onward™, and our circularity program, Cyclon™. We're still in the early stages of this journey, but we're working on more ways to diversify our business model in the coming years.
The Athlete Spirit guides everyone at On. And like our athletes, we are always recalibrating and reengineering toward better. Our goal is to make high-performance products with the lowest possible footprint – engineered for circularity, designed with preferred materials, using enhanced manufacturing methods and distribution models. By working from our own On Lab, alongside our most close and trusted partners, we can control our manufacturing processes down to the details. After all – saving the planet is a team sport.
